Adams County Water is fortunate to have exceptionally good water, placing in the MS State Drinking Water Contest in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2007, with 1st Place awards in 2000 and 2007.

After winning 1st Place again in 2007, the association has retired from entering the contest.
